    servant leadership
When you were growing up did you ever have someone who wanted you to definitely be something you had absolutely no interest in? Parents are probably the number one person of all peoples list if asked this. Leaders are the same way as we have been raised to think we all know what's perfect for everyone under our area of responsibility. We place people where we think they are best suited never asking what they feel their strengths are.

    servant leadership

Leadership one-on-one is definitely an incredible tool allowing you to understand individual's passion and desires. The different options are under 1 hour a month with your associates providing guidance and goals while also truly hearing their desires.

Let's make use of an example; I want Elena to work inside a department that is having problems because she's excelled in her current position. I never asked her how she felt about the change only telling her this is exactly what I wanted her to complete. She as being a professional only said that she'd do her best, failing miserably in two months she resigned in the company. I'd just lost a great associate because I didn't realize or understand her strengths.

In Strength Based Organization you place associates in positions they have knowledge, interest and passion for allowing them to excel. Appreciate this statement, it doesn't mean placing folks positions as their friend work there or it's an easy job. Place then in positions where they need to capability to be successful.

    emotional intelligence

OK how do you know where they'll be successful? This goes to one on one counseling and development, knowing your team, potency and efficacy and weakness. I realize a number of after you are thinking they are effective where I let them know to. Leadership is all about placing the right people in the right position so your organization will be successful. If you allow your ego to manage your decisions i quickly claim that you let your ego go and lead!
